EL ATLETICO BENIDORM CLUB DEPORTIVO ANUNCIA SU NUEVA PRESIDENCIA Y GESTION
Un grupo canadiense pasa a gestionar totalmente el Club, incluyendo su primer equipo senior, y los 25 equipos de la base desde los más jóvenes al Juvenil Nacional, pasando por los femeninos.
El Atlético Benidorm Club Deportivo (El Club), anunció hoy, que un grupo canadiense, encabezado por Azeem Amir y Francis Glasman, ha pasado a ostentar el control total del Club. Según los términos del acuerdo, el grupo pasa a ser único inversor del Club, incluyendo el primer equipo y toda la cantera, compuesta por más de 25 equipos masculinos y femeninos, así como el Juvenil A, que milita en la Liga Nacional. Además de la gestión del Club, el Sr. Azeem Amir y el Sr. Francis Glasman, continúan con sus funciones como administradores del Grupo GGFI, del que son fundadores, así como de todas sus filiales.

Hemos conocido y sufrido demasiadas organizaciones que se presentan engañosamente como expertas en ofrecer oportunidades en Europa a los jugadores, y estamos aquí para cambiarlo.
El Sr. Amir es un visionario, intuitivo, creativo y preparado para actuar, que se destaca en ayudar a las entidades a comprender y construir sus objetivos a través de ricos conceptos creativos. Con más de 30 años de experiencia en América del Norte posee un gran historial de éxito en conceptos y proyectos innovadores.
El Sr. Francis Glasman, también conocido como Mr Soccer (Sr. Fútbol), es un pionero en el desarrollo del futbol de base además de haber fundado y contribuido al crecimiento de clubs de fútbol de alto perfil en todo el mundo. Sus logros e historial a lo largo de más de 60 años de experiencia futbolística en el desarrollo, representación y gestión de jóvenes talentos, rara vez admiten comparación con otros profesionales.
El Sr. Amir continuó: “Nuestras iniciativas y objetivos son simples, demostrados y genuinos. Reconocemos y apreciamos todo lo que ha realizado el equipo actual del Atlético Benidorm y complementaremos sus iniciativas con ideas renovadas y novedosas para hacer evolucionar a la entidad, tanto al primer equipo como a toda la base de jóvenes jugadores. A través de los conocimientos del Sr Glasman, con sus innovadoras técnicas de entrenamiento y su experiencia internacional, facilitaremos lo mejor que el mundo del fútbol puede ofrecer a nuestros jugadores. Tras las conversaciones sobre el proceso de la toma de control del club, el Sr. Amir añadió: “Me gustaría agradecer al personal actual del club, a la junta directiva, a los distintos responsables de trabajo y a los voluntarios, que hayan accedido a permanecer a bordo y continúen su trabajo con nosotros bajo nuestra nueva dirección y organización. Agradezco personalmente al Sr. Russell Pointon que nos facilitó la oportunidad de llegar al Atlético Benidorm, y a los Sres. Pablo Candela y Paul Body, por brindarnos su hospitalidad y hacer de esta transición un proceso fluido.”
El Sr. Amir concluyó: “ Tenemos un equipo sólido, experimentado y talentoso que obtendrá resultados con los medios con los que contamos. SOBRE EL ATLETICO BENIDORM CLUB DEPORTIVO
El Club compite en la divisiones regionales valencianas de fútbol de la Federación de Futbol de la Comunidad Valenciana. La Liga Nacional Juvenil es la segunda máxima categoría de las ligas de fútbol español para jugadores juveniles hasta 18 años. Es una liga organizada por la Real Federación Española de Fútbol.
Los equipos entrenan y compiten en las instalaciones municipales de la ciudad de Benidorm , siendo el más emblemático el Estadio Municipal Guillermo Amor.

Under the terms of the agreement, the group becomes the Club’s sole investor, which includes the clubs first team and the academy comprising of over 25 male and female teams, including a U19 Liga National Juvenil team. In addition to the management of the club, Mr. Azeem Amir and Mr. Francis Glasman will continue to be the founders of GGFI Group and all its subsidiaries.

Mr. Francis Glasman, also known as Mr. Soccer, is the pioneer of youth development in addition to having founded and associated high profile football clubs around the world. His accolades and accomplishment through over 60 years of football experience with youth development, representation and management is rarely superseded by other professionals.
Mr. Amir continued: “Our initiatives and objectives are simple, tried, tested and true. We acknowledge and understand all that has been done by the current team at Atlético Benidorm and will supplement their initiatives with invigorating and untried initiatives to grow the entirety of the organization – the first team and the academy of players. Upon the discussion over the process of taking over the club Mr. Amir added: “I’d like to thank the existing staff, organizational board and committee and volunteers, who will stay onboard and continue their work with us in different forms under our new management and organization, and individuals like Mr. Russell Pointon who presented us with this opportunity of managing and controlling Atlético Benidorm, Mr. Pablo Candela and Mr. Paul Body for extending their hospitality and making this transition a seamless process.”

We have finally built our bridge to Europe through Spain and are now going to put the football of Benidorm at an international level.
